KOSKI is a board game that connects the physical and digital gaming worlds together in a new, unusual and playful way. It is a combination between real toy blocks and a computer game that take the best of both, merging them together in beautiful way. The building blocks are simple wooden bricks with magnetic joints which allow you to build unique and complex structures in quick and easy way. The second part of the game includes an app for smartphones or tablets that augments the blocks into a whole new world, in real time, as it happens. Through this app, wooden bricks come alive and become full of stories with live creatures, waterfalls, gardens and much more.

The app is using a device’s camera in combination with an object recognition software to analyse what is in front of it and dynamically reacts to the players actions. This allows virtual characters to be led by the player through mazes, completing quests, solving problems and unlocking different levels with no need to touch the iPad screen. The player navigates characters by placing different tokens on the board game that are recognised by the camera and allowing the player to interact with objects in the physical world without clicking on iPads screen.

    Hi,
What an amazing product. I am a language educator at an elementary school and I am interested in purchasing this product to enhance the academic experience of my diverse student population. Is this product available to the public and how can I purchase one?

    Thanks!

      hi Cecilia,
unfortunately the game is not ready yet. So fare it is just a prototype and we need to work on it for few more months before we bring it to Kickstarter. We will let you know when the final version is ready.

      Best regards,
