This project was a study on how choosing to crowdfund a project can affect product design. I had an initial idea about an alarm clock with access to the users calendar and live traffic info. Choosing to build a Kickstarter campaign around the idea was a revelation about how much batch sizes and communication of the products values affect industrial design.
I had a vision of a product that would require minimum interaction, because our actions immediately before and after sleep are hardly precise. The clock switches between two display modes when tapped, and all other interaction is outsourced to a mobile app.
